Job description:
The Industry Consultant leverages knowledge and contacts within a specific industry to promote sales of business and technology solutions from DRILLґs client. The Industry Consultant has broad knowledge of the industry and specific in-depth expertise in a particular segment or functional area of that industry. The Industry Consultant articulates industry vision and trends, and provides industry knowledge to marketing and sales support activities. The Industry Consultant establishes or enhances executive level relationships, provides subject matter expertise on engagements and identifies new target opportunities emerging within the industry. The Industry Consultant will be expected to deliver high level, customer billable consulting to our targeted accounts and oversee the development of the customer engagement model for additional services. In addition, the industry Consultant develops long term strategic partnerships.

Representative Responsibilities:
• Provides significant support in proposal preparation
• Selects and modifies practice support tools to fit engagement
• Manages multiple assignments and P&L outcomes on a day-to-day basis
• Ensures task quality in accordance with Global PM and ISO 9000 (TD only)
• Selects and integrates deployment support tools to fit engagement
• Evaluates risks and propose contingency plans
• Executes the proposed client transition strategies
• Mentors other associates on the technical and operational aspects of the solution
• Develop and deploy key field communications
• Assists the Program Manager in calculating Earned Value and reporting High Impact Projects (HIP) financial information
• Develops and manages the project’s change control procedures.
• Develops and manages the project’s change control procedures.
• Conducts project progress reviews with client and account team personnel, providing contingency and problem resolution plans as required.
