IHI Streamlines Aircraft Engine Maintenance with Oracle Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Solution Leading machinery manufacturer and maintenance service provider and TIS win the 2014 Travel and Transportation Industry Excellence Award for innovative MRO business transformation

IHI expects an improvement in its operations including a reduction in turnaround times for jet engine maintenance as well as improvements in its ability to meet growth targets for this line of business.

The deployment of Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul provided IHI with the state-of-the-art MRO platform the group wanted for jet engine maintenance, as well as support for configuration management, maintenance process planning, and execution.

Oracle also recognized leading IT provider TIS with the 2014 Travel and Transportation Industry Excellence Award for its successful design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul at IHI. TIS worked closely with Oracle Development, Oracle Global Industry Solutions Group, and Oracle Consulting to implement the solution.
